While the price of the modifications alone is not known, the owner of this Mahindra Hammer claims that it is close to Rs 24 lakhs including the cost of the vehicle. According to the details provided, this Mahindra Thar Hammer is a good Rs 5.5 lakhs cheaper than a new one and it is also in an almost-new condition. DC Design earlier said that they charge about Rs 6 lakhs for the modification job but the totally depends on the type of customisation that the customer chooses.
The price of the car is more than lower-end variants of the Mahindra XUV500, Jeep Compass and Kia Seltos but no other vehicle at price will offer you the same kind of attention and that is for sure. According to the seller, the vehicle has done only 500 km but we are not sure if it is true. While buying the vehicle, one should check for all the details properly and check the service records to see if the odometer has been altered or tampered with.
The condition of the vehicle, however, looks great. There are no scratches on the body and it looks pristine. The Hammer look comes from the new DC Design that includes a new redesigned front bumper, a redesigned grille, new projector headlamps, new fog lamps, and extra flared fenders that look extremely good on the car. The fenders also add a wide-body look to the car.
The interior gets a lot of changes including a red-theme cabin that includes new red coloured upholstery all around. There are diamond-stitched seats and even the door panels and the dashboard have received the new red cover.
Mahindra Thar is not for sale in the Indian market anymore. This car for sale is the 4X4 version that comes with a low-ratio transfer case too.
