Rare, 'Unregistered' Ford F-150 Raptor Pick Up Truck For Sale In India: Interested?

Many of these models were never officially sold in India, which makes them rare too. Here we have one such rare Ford F-150 Raptor pickup truck, which is available for sale in the used car market. The Ford F-150 Raptor seen here in the image was actually imported by an enthusiast from Chennai last year. Images of the same have been circulating online since then. The car seen here is actually a 2022 model F-150 Raptor Performance 37 Special Edition.

The person imported the Australian-spec version of the Raptor and spent a huge amount to bring the truck to India. First of all, it was originally a LHD (Left-Hand Drive) vehicle, and the owner would have spent anywhere around Rs 15–30 lakh just for the conversion. This, along with 125 percent import duty, shipping charges, and registration fees, would have made this truck extremely expensive.

It should be noted that the F-150 seen here is not the regular version but a Raptor. The F-150 Raptor truck would cost around Rs 65 lakh in the USA. The butch-looking pickup truck has a dominating presence on the road. It is definitely going to intimidate Toyota Fortuner and Endeavour SUVs on Indian roads.

The SUV seen here was registered on May 9, 2024, and it is powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine. This massive engine generates 392 hp and is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The truck gets 37-inch all-terrain tyres. The Ford F-150 Raptor is not one of those trucks that looks intimidating and expedition-ready but can’t deliver. It is packed with features that make driving it through rough terrain easy.

The F-150 Raptor gets 4×4 with Hi-Lock Transfer Case, Ford Trail Control with Trail 1-Pedal Drive and Trail Turn Assist, and heavy-duty skid plates. The suspension setup on the SUV is actually tuned for this purpose. The pickup truck looks extremely good in this shade of blue. The truck, as per the post, has done around 18,000 kms on the odometer and is currently with its first owner.
