Rare used car: Well maintained Toyota Sera selling at just Rs 10 lakh
Toyota is popular among Indian buyers for Fortuner SUV and Innova Crysta MPV. They are known for being reliable, comfortable and have a low cost of maintenance. Most of the cars that Toyota has in Indian market are for mass market and not enthusiasts. They have SUVs for off-road enthusiasts but, there is currently no car available in the Indian market that Toyota can actually call a sports car. The advertisement for this rare 2-door car from Toyota has been published by Mohammed Zayn on Preowned Luxury Cars For Sale Facebook page. Before we talk about the condition of the car, here is some information about the Sera. Toyota Sera is actually not a typical sports car. It is designed to look like a sports car but, it never got a powerful engine. The car was very lightweight and weighed approximately 900 kilograms. The car was powered by a 1.5 litre, 4-cylinder engine that generates 108 Ps. Due to its lightweight body, the Sera felt a lot more quicker and had a sportier feel to it.
Coming back to the advertisement, Toyota Sera seen here in the pictures look well maintained. The Yellow paint job on the car is very unique and gives it a sporty appeal. The seller mentions in the advertisement that the car is in impeccable condition. He mentions that the car has been completely restored and whoever buys the car will not have to spend even a single penny on restoring or repairing it.
The car seen here in the advertisement has no scratches or dents on it. The main highlight of Toyota Sera is the design. The car has a very unique design which does not look outdated even today. One of the feature that attracted people toward Toyota Sera were the doors. Toyota offered butterfly doors inspired from McLaren F1 sports car. The car gets sleek looking headlamps that go well with the overall design of the car. Turn indicators are placed on the bumper of the car. As mentioned above, the interior on this car has been completely redone and it looks very neat in the pictures.

The all black hard plastic dashboard has been retained but, the steering wheel has been replaced with aftermarket unit. The seats are wrapped in black leather upholstery and there are floor mats as well. It looks like the owner of this car had installed an aftermarket touchscreen infotainment system and the same has been installed right in front of the automatic gear lever.
