Vehicle modification and conversions are now becoming a common thing and we have seen several examples of modified retro cars and bikes in the past. Many of them have been featured on our website as well. Here we have Nissan Jonga SUV that has been neatly restored and modified. Nissan Jonga is the army spec version of Nissan Patrol SUV and should not be confused with the Nissan 1 ton. This resto-modded Nissan Jonga SUV is actually available for sale.
The advertisement has been published by Aarit Sandhu on 4×4 India Facebook group. The SUV is modified by WS Design who specialise in building off-road vehicles and restoring old SUVs. This Nissan Jonga is one of their recent projects. They have done a lot to the vehicle to bring it back to life. Starting with the exterior, the round regular headlamps have been replaced with aftermarket LED units with LED DRLs. The bumper has been redone and it now comes with LED fog lamps too. The exterior gets Grey colour gloss paint job which looks good on the SUV. The turn indicators are placed on the fenders and Nissan logo can be seen on the bonnet as well.

Coming to the side profile, the boxy design of the SUV has been retained. It now gets aftermarket alloys which are wrapped in Maxxis bighorn off-road tyres. A full body roll bar is also installed on the SUV and a roof rack has also been installed. The rear gets LED tail lamps and a tailgate mounted spare wheel.
As mentioned above, WS design has added several modern features to the SUV. The SUV now gets remote central locking, power windows with automatic roll up function when the vehicle is locked, steering mounted control, AC, power steering and many more. The SUV also gets aftermarket touchscreen infotainment screen, music system by Infinity by Harman, reverse parking camera and so on. The interiors in this SUV have been completely redone. It now gets beige colour interiors with leather seat covers and leather padded door pads. The dashboard, steering and some other panels on the door also gets faux wooden inserts.
The Nissan Jonga seen here in the advertisement is powered by a 2.8 litre diesel engine that is paired with 5-speed manual gearbox. It is a proper 4×4 SUV.
