Used Mahindra XUV500 from 2018 selling for more than Rs. 7 lakhs less than new

The Mahindra XUV500 has long been a top-selling mid-segment SUV. It rivals the likes of the Tata Harrier, MG Hector, and the Tata Hexa among others in a segment. The onslaught of new competitors has reduced its demand a bit of late but Mahindra is working on the new-gen XUV500 for the same. Coming to the current-gen XUV500, the SUV commands a decent resale value due to its good built quality along with cheap and reliable Mahindra aftersales support among other reasons. Last year, Mahindra discontinued the W6 trim of the XUV500, which was among the higher-end trims and had an on-road price of around Rs. 17 lakhs. However, you can now own a relatively new Mahindra XUV500 W6 for more than Rs. 7 lakhs less than new.
The all-black Mahindra XUV500 you see here is the W6 variant and can be had yours for just Rs. 9.75 lakhs. It is a 2018 model and was registered in January. As already mentioned, the approximate on-road price of the now discontinued Mahindra XUV500 W6 variant in Ghaziabad was around Rs. 17 lakhs, which means that this one here is more than Rs. 7 lakhs cheaper. Going by the images, the vehicle seems to be in great condition with no visible damage of any type. The vehicle is up for sale in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

The odometer of this XUV500 has a reading of around 47,000 km but the seller has not specified if it has been with a single owner till date or has seen more than one owner. It comes fitted with a few common accessories like side steps, and crash guards on both ends among others. Despite the W6 variant not being the top end one, it comes with decent levels of features to boot.
The interiors of this Mahindra XUV500 also seem to be in immaculate condition. The cabin comes with a touch infotainment system, leather upholstery, automatic climate control, keyless start, parking camera, and cruise control among others. Powering this vehicle is a 2179cc, 4 cylinders diesel engine that churns out a decent 138 Bhp of power along with 330 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox that sends power to the rear wheels. So if you want a new mid-size SUV but don’t want to splurge much for that, you might want to consider this one.
Also, do give a thorough check to the vehicle before parting with your money. Get it checked by a mechanic for any serious damage and also ask for the full-service history of the vehicle as it reveals quite a lot of information about its maintenance. And it goes without saying that a good test drive is a must before buying any car.
