The DC Avanti is a mid-engined sports car that offers a ground clearance of 170mm! This car gets powered by a 2.0-litre EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine sourced from Ford Motors. The four-cylinder engine produces a maximum power of 250 Bhp and peak torque of 366 Nm. There is a 6-speed transmission and the power goes to the rear wheels of the car. It is quite fun to drive too. It is based on a tubular frame and the whole set-up weighs only 1,562 kg!
According to DC Design, the Avanti can reach a top speed of 180 km/h and it can do the 0-100 km/h run in just 6 seconds. The car is not very short since it offers ample space for four adults. It measures 4,623mm in length and has a wheelbase of 2,700mm. The high ground clearance makes sure that it passes through most of the bad surfaces and speed-breakers without scrapping the bottom. Also, the engine is powerful enough for the Indian roads.
