Jeep Cherokee priced cheaper than a Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza

Jeep officially entered the Indian market after a lot of delays. Their first cars in the Indian market were a Wrangler and the Grand Cherokee. Jeep is an iconic brand name and it has been around for years now. Even before the official entry of the brand to the Indian market, there were many who imported such cars privately. Well, here is one such Jeep Cherokee that is for sale in India and it is cheaper than a brand-new Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza!

This is a 1994 model that was privately imported. The SUV has been listed by Nicholas Jeyalasha in 4X4 India group. The car is heavily modified and comes with a lot of aftermarket accessories. The seller has not mentioned the kilometres done by the SUV but since these vehicles last for lakhs for kilometres, there is nothing much to worry.

The seller has mentioned that the SUV has fittings like high lift jack, an electric winch, guards, off-road bumpers, snorkel, LED lamps, alloy wheels and many more such accessories. This is the Jeep Cherokee XJ that gets powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine. It generates a maximum power of 122 PS and peak torque of 200 Nm. There is a 5-speed manual transmission available with the car and it gets an AWD system.

The pictures of the SUV show that there are no dents or scratches on the body. It looks like in great condition too. However, the seller has not shared any details on the odometer reading or service history of the car.

The seller has mentioned that the car needs to be transferred to the new owner after the purchase. The asking price of this Jeep Cherokee is Rs 10 lakhs and the seller has mentioned in the post that no cheap offers will be entertained.

Since this is a very old vehicle, one needs to properly verify the car’s details and check it too.
