MG Hector, the newly launched SUV in the Indian market has gathered a lot of popularity in the Indian market. There is a long waiting period on the Hector and even the manufacturer is offering freebies to the customers waiting for the vehicle to arrive in their garage. Nonetheless, there are a lot of customers who have already received the MG Hector SUV. In a few cases, the customers are even selling their vehicles in the used car market, of course, for a profit. This MG Hector from Ludhiana, Punjab is up for sale and the owner is asking of a massive Rs 5 lakh premium for the vehicle.

The advertisement of the vehicle, which is posted on Droom is a Super variant and gets powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine. It is a manual version. In Ludhiana, Punjab, the most of a brand-new MG Hector is Rs 14.18 lakh, ex-showroom. After registering it and paying all the mandatory charges, the cost of a brand-new Hector comes out to be around Rs 16.5 lakhs. However, the owner selling this vehicle is asking for Rs 21 lakh, which is a lot of money. We are not sure if the current owner has added any additional accessories or other features, which makes the vehicle so expensive.

Nonetheless, there are many who have received the delivery of their MG Hector and are selling it in the market at a more premium price. This allows the customers to buy the car without actually waiting for the vehicle. However, it will be a second-hand vehicle, which may affect the vehicle’s value in the used car market down the few years.

The MG Hector posted here is almost new. It has done only 1,300 km. As per the ad, the car is located in Ludhiana, Punjab. It gets the Aurora Silver colour and in the pictures, we could not find any dents or scratches on the body. The exact reason for selling the vehicle is not mentioned by the owner but it seems like a predetermined move to make a profit.

This is the diesel variant of the MG Hector and it is powered by the 2.0-litre diesel engine option sourced from Fiat. This is the same engine that also powers the Jeep Compass and the Tata Harrier in the Indian market. In the Hector, it produces a maximum power of 171 Bhp and peak torque of 350 Nm. It gets a 6-speed manual transmission as standard.

The Super variant gets features like dual-front airbags, ESP and traction control system, hill hold, ABS with EBD, disc brakes on all four wheels, rear parking sensors, rear defogger, ISOFIX hooks for seats,speed-sensing automatic door locks, rear parking camera, front parking sensors, cornering fog lamps, LED tail lamps, LED rear fog lamps and silver alloy wheels. It also gets the 10.4-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
