DC Design is currently not working on as many cars as it used to. However, in the past, the brand worked on several vehicles and transformed them into some of the unique looking lounge vehicles. DC Design has even worked on the Mahindra Thar, which has now been discontinued in the market. If you’re interested in buying the massive-looking Thar named as the Hammer, here is one for sale. This car has only done 5,000 km on the odometer and is in pristine condition.

This DC Design Hammer is located in Pune and the seller claims that it is the only car in Pune, which makes it unique. This is based on a 2017 Mahindra Thar and the car comes with all the service history in place. The seller has mentioned that the vehicle has comprehensive insurance cover until April 2021, which is a peace of mind. Also, this is the 4X4 variant, which means that it can also reach some of the most challenging spots.

The seller has mentioned that the car will be sold through cheque payment or demand draft only and the seller will not accept any form of online payment of cash payment. Looking at the pictures, this Mahindra Thar looks like in a pristine condition and there are no dents or scratches on the body. It looks great overall.

DC Design showcased the Hammer design based on the Thar at the 2018 Auto Expo. It attracted a lot of eyes, especially due to the bold and muscular design panels on the body. It sure looks extremely good and can turn a lot of heads on the roads. The seller is asking for Rs 16.75 lakhs, which may seem expensive and can buy you new cars like Mahindra XUV500, Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos and Hyundai Creta. However, no other vehicle in the market will attract as much attention as this one.

Apart from the donor vehicle, which is a Thar, DC Design charges around Rs 6 lakhs for the Hammer conversion. The transformation job uses a lot of modified body panels and fabricated panels to give it the look. Almost all the parts of the stock Thar have been redesigned in the Hammer. The front-end even gets a newly designed grille with projector headlamps, new fog lamps, flared wheel arches to give it a widebody look, a hardtop with wide windows and more.

DC Design has always been popular for the job that it does to the interiors. This Hammer gets completely revamped interior with the red theme all over. The dashboard, door panels and the seats are now covered in red coloured leather with diamond stitching. Also, it gets a touchscreen infotainment system and a new steering wheel. The rear seats are now front-facing and it looks much more comfortable than stock. You can contact the owner for more details.
