Well kept, used Audi A4 selling for less than a Maruti Swift

When spending over Rs. 40 lakhs on a car, most people prefer the German trio of Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Audi rather than any other manufacturer. All these brands have their popular entry-level luxury sedans which start from upwards of Rs. 40 lakhs and are a clear indication of one’s status. But that sum is not what everyone could afford to pay for a car. The silver Audi A4 sedan featured here is up for sale in Delhi and can be had yours for just Rs. 8 lakhs. This is a whole lot less than the on-road price of a brand new Maruti Suzuki Swift. If images are anything to go by, the car seems to be in a decent condition with no major scratch marks or other body damage. It is a 2012 made model and comes powered by a diesel engine. One thing to note here is that though this A4 might cost less than the Swift, the ownership costs of this sedan will be much higher than the Swift. This includes the running, maintenance and spare parts costs among other expenses.

The seller has mentioned in the advertisement that this Audi A4 has covered around 83,000 km till date and has changed hands once before too. The advertisement also mentions that the car is having a full insurance cover currently, though its tenure has not been mentioned. Talking about its odometer reading, the car has run quite a lot of distance till date but that 2.0-litre diesel engine has a lot more punch remaining in it. Do check the tires of the car though before buying it to see if they need a replacement.

Talking about the interiors of the car, they are draped in all black which means maintaining them won’t be much of an issue. The Audi A4 is quite luxurious on the inside and offers a ton of features that make it a true luxury car. This one here gets leather seats, electric sunroof, OEM-installed music system, airbags, and cruise control among other features.

As for its technical details, this A4 2.0 TDI is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that pumps a maximum power of 187 Bhp and peak torque of around 400 Nm. The engine comes mated to an automatic transmission which makes it easier to drive in heavy traffic conditions. Overall, it is a decent option for someone looking to buy an Audi sedan without spending big bucks on it.
